The Firefox Editor for Delphi Forums was originally developed in August, 2005. Since then it has been downloaded thousands of times. The editor was originally created to provide a WYSIWYG editor for members using Firefox, since the editor at Delphi Forums only worked in Internet Explorer. The original editor provided standard wysiwyg features, such as colored text, bold, lists, etc. Since then, the editor has evolved to include features that are only available with this editor.
One of the most popular features is the ability to save multiple signatures, then select a particular signature when posting a message. Other favorites include smileys, custom colors and fonts, default signature, and Quick Quotes.
