WYSIWYG Editor for Firefox

Version 3.7 (released September 22, 2007)

New features in this version include:

  • Added a new Tab in the Editor Options to set up default font color, family, bold and italics. You can also setup whether the editor toolbar uses the new silver background, or matches the forum background. The default will automatically be set when you create a new message. It is NOT pre-set on the Edit Message page, or anywhere else the editor appears.
  • There is a new button on the toolbar, next to the "More Colors" button called "Default Font". Whenever you click that, your default fonts will be set. This allows you to select text and make it your default. Or you can set your defaults, then type.
  • Enabled the following shortcut keys :
    * CTRL/B - bold
    * CTRL/I - italic
    * CTRL/U - underline
    * CTRL/S - strikethrough
    * CTRL/Z - undo
    * CTRL/Y - redo
    * CTRL/V - paste
  • When editing a message, the editor shows up immediately, instead of having to click a button to see the editor
  • Added a spell check button to the toolbar that calls Delphi's spellchecker.
  • Increased the width of the editor for new messages to always be wide. For editing messages, the window is still narrow.
  • Lengthened the timeout when the editor first loads, in an attempt to prevent the problems in Linux where the editor will not work until switched to HTML and back to WYSIWYG.
